I’m a social practice artist living in New York City. For the last 7 years I’ve been working on a project with a collective of artists and anthropologists called The Artpologist Collective. For about 14 years I’ve been lucky enough to work at a little restaurant called Chez Panisse in Berkeley California. I’ve learned a lot about food by being born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and working in restaurants in order to survive and earn a living. I hope my blog will share some of my perspectives on life, art, cities, cultures and the food we eat informed by my experiences as an art worker and restaurant worker.
